Nothing worse than trying to hem something real quick, and the tension on your sewing machine is a mess!
This time, the knob with numbers on it did nothing to change the thread that lays on the top of the material. Frustrated, I searched youtube for the solution. Holy moly!
Apparently, this screw on the bobbin holder does more than just hold the entire mechanism together. It actually changes the tension on the top thread.
This was an “AH-HA” moment for me. Seriously, why have I been so terrified of the tension on my sewing machine?
