My Striped Coat In the Ocean City Gallery I was able to exhibit my "Striped Coat" in a show. Here I am at the Artists' Reception. So exciting! Snowfall Splendor Scarf Inspired by winter's wonders. Blues and grays with handspun yarn for fringe. Underside is snow white. Lots of Texture A close-up of my wet felted scarf showing the details of textures. Chunky Art Yarn Woven Hero Cowl Hand dyed and thickly spun wool was woven on my rigid heddle loom. Super fun project! Purple Fine Merino and Viscose Scarf One side of this scarf is purple the other is white ruching gauze. A stark contrast in textures. Woven Striped Coat This coat was woven with yarns that were gifted to me when I bought my loom. The pattern is from Handwoven Magazine. The detail includes crocheting to sew the seams together. Spinning Hand dyed Wool into Yarn Love my Majacraft Rose Spinning Wheel. We make beautiful yarn together. Wet Felted Bird Pod Using a balloon as a resist, I used hand dyed, hand spun yarns for make a new home for our backyard birds. "Thick & Thin" Art Yarn Knitted Scarf Hand dyed & spun knitted into this striking scarf. Wet Felted Seascape Painting Using Corriedale & Merino wool with silk and viscose embellishments, this piece was felted into a painting. Eco-Printed T-Shirt My first attempt at using the Marigolds and Geraniums from my garden. You will be seeing more of these projects! Halloween Brimmed Hat Needed something to wear Trick or Treating with my grandkids! Wet felted on a resist and embellished with hand spun yarn and viscose. Blue & Pink Sweater Hand dyed & spun yarn was knitted into my favorite sweater. I even made dorset buttons! Tierney's Sweater Hand dyed & spun yarn was knitted into a sweater for my daughter. We found the buttons at a Fiber Festival. Nuno Felted Turquoise & Black Vest Silk, Fine Merino Wool with Viscose and Silk Fiber for Embellishments. Christmas Nuno Felted Tunic Silk chiffon is the base and then fine merino is felted on top. Some textured fabrics and viscose were added as embellishments. Mommy and Girls Matching Hats Loved knitting these hats for Rachel and the grand daughters. Felted Christmas Cards I have been making individual Christmas cards for the whole list every year for quite a while. This year, I decided to felt them since that's what my current passion is. I really enjoyed this creative project. Handwoven Baby Blanket for Vivienne New baby in the family means a new blanket to be woven on my Nilus Floor Loom.
